Cathedral Church of Saint Peter Cemetery Regulations
(Effective September 30, 2011)

St. Peter’s Cemetery has marked the final resting place for most parishioners since the 1870s, when the site was purchased from the Roman Catholic Diocese. At the front of the Cemetery, a few headstones identify the graves of members of the Roman Catholic Diocese who were buried before the land was sold. St. Peter’s Cemetery is a peaceful and restful place that contains the graves of many prominent Islanders.

The Cemetery Committee is responsible for the use, care and maintenance of St. Peter’s Cemetery. To this end, the following regulations have been developed by the Committee. They shall be administered by the Committee as stated, unless directed otherwise by the Property Committee and Vestry.
