The Parish of Saint George is rich in catholic tradition and evangelical preaching. The Book of Common Prayer (1962) is used at all services of public worship.
The ceremonial at the liturgy varies from a simple said Holy Communion service to the more elaborate Choral Eucharist at the principal service on Sunday morning and on major festivals of the church year.
Our choir sings a wide variety of mass settings and motets -- from Durufle to Gibbons, from Britten to Byrd. Plainsong is generally sung during penitential seasons. Merbecke is often sung in the summer and occasionally throughout the year.
