The Choir of the Parish of Saint George's Round Church in Halifax, N.S., supports the liturgical tradition of Saint George's throughout the Church year for various services and events. The choir sings a wide variety of mass settings and motets, including Palestrina, Howells, Vaughan Williams, and Tallis. Plainsong is generally sung during penitential seasons, and Merbecke is often sung in the summer and occasionally throughout the year.

The Choir is a mixed voice choir of approximately twenty members. Choir practices take place every Thursday night for regular Choral services with supplemental practices for special services. Each chorister is auditioned each year in September and before admittance into the choir. In addition each chorister is encouraged to develop his or her vocal ability further through private voice lessons.
